Weisswurst will keep up to one week after arrival if refrigerated in original vacuum tight package. Can also be frozen up to 2 months without affecting original flavor or quality. Defrost slowly overnight in refrigerator, do not thaw at room temperature.
How to serve:
Here is the Bavarian style of serving Weisswurst: Bring water to boil, drop in Weisswurst, turn off heat, cover and let sit for 15 minutes. Put sausages in terrine with hot water and set on table. Serve with potato salad, bread and our imported Weisswurst Senf (mustard). Or put on grill or pan fry.This sausage is also particularly good for serving to babies and children because of its exceptional mildness.
